Welcome to my personal web log! My name is Edgars, I currently live in Riga, Latvia, with my bride-to-be Daina and our beautiful cat – Tigra.

I currently work as an IT Project Manager at the national air carrier of Latvia – airBaltic.
Previously I have been employed by various companies, such as the National Health Service in the UK and the Goldman Sachs investment bank.
I also had the opportunity to run my very own web development agency (now closed) and to be one of co-founders of the Latvian spice startup Manas Garšas (now run by Baiba and Rūta).
Once every two weeks with Daina we help organise game evenings at the local board game group in Jelgava. Please join us if you are ever near!
I had the opportunity to study the MEng Computing (Software Engineering) course at Imperial College London.
I also helped the local chapter of Volt Europa – a pan-european political movement aiming to change politics and improve Europe.
Together with some incredibly motivated people we organized monthly discussion events called Let’s talk about Europe.
